Covid-19 Update for our patients:

We are pleased to announce that Hatley Dental is open for Phase 2 of B.C.'s Restart Plan! However, things will look a little different at our office in order to keep you and our staff as safe and healthy as possible. Here are a few of the precautions we will be taking:

PRE-SCREENING

Pre-screening our patients for illness or COVID-19 risk factors over the phone or online will be a very important step in keeping our office a safe place.   Patients will be screened once again when they arrive for their appointment.  If you are are feeling sick or have COVID-19 risk factors, we ask that you please reschedule.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Our schedule has been arranged to reduce the number of people congregating in high traffic areas of our office, such as the reception area.  We ask that you let us know when you have arrived by calling us before entering the office.  When we are ready, we will let you in.  Because our clinic is not a big space, we ask that our patients wear a mask.  If you do not have a mask, we will provide one for you.  We also ask that as soon as you enter, that you sanitize your hands.  If you cross paths with another patient or a staff member, please do your best to maintain physical distancing.  Upon completion of the service we ask that contactless transaction by credit card be the mode of payment.

OFFICE DISINFECTION AND STERILIZATION

You will notice that our reception area is now sparsely furnished to promote physical distancing.  The magazine rack and toy box, along with the coffee bar have been removed in order to minimize the unnecessary spread of germs.  High touch surfaces throughout the office will be wiped down regularly, and the operatories will be cleaned and disinfected appropriately between patients.  All dental instruments will be thoroughly sterilized after use in accordance with our governing body’s guidelines.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)

Our office has all of the appropriate personal protective equipment needed in order to protect ourselves and our patients during this unprecedented time.  Depending on the dental procedure, you may find us wearing face shields and gowns in addition to surgical masks and gloves. We are looking forward to seeing all of our amazing Hatley Dental patients again, but please note that we will be prioritizing patients with the most urgent needs first.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time! Please fill out the following forms before visiting our office for your appointment.
